Jessica DiMari is a composer and multi-instrumentalist whose music has been described as stunning and versatile. Blending orchestral richness with modern edge, she creates emotionally resonant music with a distinctive sonic voice for film, TV, documentary, and branded content.

 

Her music has accompanied films premiering at NewFest, sponsored by HBO, streamed on HBCU GO, and earned recognition from the National Board of Review. She contributed original music to ABC’s Emmy Award–winning documentary Jimmy Carter: A Full Life, and her work has been featured in global campaigns for brands including Crest and La Roche-Posay.

 

She is the recipient of the prestigious 2026 Pete Carpenter Fellowship, and has been featured in the ASCAP Composer Spotlight. She holds an MFA in Media Scoring from the Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema and completed advanced studies in film scoring at Juilliard.

 

Early in her career, DiMari worked on music preparation for productions including Book Club (Paramount), City of Lies (Miramax), and ESPN’s 30 for 30: Qualified, collaborating with composers across New York and Los Angeles.

 

Her concert music has been presented by OPERA America and the Tribeca Performing Arts Center, featured in art installations at the Brooklyn Museum, and performed by ensembles including the Oklahoma Composers Orchestra and ETHEL Quartet.
